About us
BartelsRieger Atemschutztechnik GmbH is a German Mittelstand Company based in Cologne, Germany. Our company was founded in 1861 in Barmen, at the beginning of the industrialization in an industrial metropolises. On the basis of its own rubber production, the company specialized from the beginning not only in medical instruments but also, among other things, in first-aid solutions and respiratory protection. Due to the settlement and strong expansion of manufacturing and processing within the chemical industry on the Rhine river, BartelsRieger moved to Cologne at the beginning of the 20th century. Today, we can look back on a company history of over 160 years and are one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of respiratory protection technology.

We offer filtering respiratory protection solutions such as FFP masks, respiratory protection filters and masks.
