The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR and Art. 8 (1) a) and c) of the "e-Privacy Regulation". We have a legitimate interest in ensuring that our website is displayed correctly for you, that we can quickly identify and rectify the causes of malfunctions and hacker attacks, and that we evaluate this data anonymously for statistical purposes.

The provision of this data is neither legally nor contractually required; however, the use of the website without processing much of this data is not possible for technical reasons.

3.4.2 Cookies

We also use session cookies and permanent cookies on our website. Session cookies are deleted after closing the browser. Permanent cookies are valid for up to 14 months and are then deleted. . Cookies are small files that contain an identification number assigned by us. Cookies are stored on your terminal device when you access our website. If you call up our website again, your end device can be recognised on the basis of this identification number.

Cookies make it easier for you to navigate through our website. They allow items that you have added to the shopping basket to be stored there and for you to remain logged in as a registered customer, even if you have called up different websites in succession.

We are entitled to set cookies in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR and Art. 8 (1) a) and d) e-Privacy Regulation.

You can request the deletion of your data sent with this contact form at any time by notifying us or by sending an e-mail to [mail@bartelsrieger.de]. We will then delete all data transmitted via the contact form, unless we are entitled and/or obliged to retain it on the basis of statutory regulations.

3.4.4 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is an analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google uses cookies (see above 3.4.2). The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is generally transmitted to Google in the USA and processed there. The same applies to your anonymised IP address. In addition, Google Analytics processes the data contained in the log files, the internet address of the website that you had accessed before visiting our website (referrer URL) and the search term with which you found our website via a search engine.

Google will process this data on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website and compiling reports on website activity. Google uses the data contained in the log files, for example, to compile statistics on the frequency of access to our website. Pseudonymous usage profiles of the visitors to this website can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation activated. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to Google in the USA and only shortened there.

You can prevent cookies from being stored by changing your browser settings - as described above. Furthermore, you can prevent the processing of the data generated by the cookie by downloading and installing the plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Alternatively, or within browsers on mobile devices, you can click on the following link: Disable Google Analytics tracking on this page. In doing so, an opt-out cookie is set in the browser you are currently using, with effect for our website. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click on this link again. If you use several devices or browsers, you must click this link for each individual device in each individual browser.

The data may be transferred to the USA. The European Commission decided Adequacy Decision (EU) 2016/1250 of 12 July 2016 that Google ensures an adequate level of data protection.

The data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR and, if you are a Google customer, where applicable on the basis of Art. 6 (1) a) or b) GDPR. We have a legitimate commercial interest in using the evaluation of the above statistics to adapt our website to the needs of visitors to our website and to use these statistics for internal market research. The provision of this data is not mandatory and is not required for the conclusion of a contract with us.

For more information about Google Analytics, please visit the following Google website: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

3.4.5 Google "reCAPTCHA" service

To protect our customer portal from misuse by computer programs, we use the reCAPTCHA service from Google. This service uses cookies. The information collected by the cookie about your use of this website, such as your IP address, is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and processed there. On behalf of BartelsRieger, Google will use this information to provide the reCAPTCHA service. This information may be passed on to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. It is not excluded that your IP address is transmitted to a server in the USA. The European Commission decided in its Adequacy Decision (EU) 2016/1250 of 12 July 2016 that an adequate level of data protection exists in the USA. The processing of data is based on art. 6 sect. 1 f) GDPR. BartelsRieger has a legitimate interest in verifying whether registrations in the customer portal have actually been made by a human being in order to prevent fraud. You can prevent cookies from being stored by setting your browser accordingly (see above). For more information on Google's privacy policy, please visit: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

3.4.6 Google Web Fonts

We use fonts (‘Google Fonts’) from Google LLC, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland on our website for the standardised display of fonts. Google Fonts are integrated locally on our server so that no connection to Google's servers is established when our website is accessed. Therefore, no personal data is transmitted to Google.

3.4.7 Google Maps

Content from Google Maps is integrated on our website. By visiting a subpage of our website on which Google Maps is integrated, data about your behaviour when using Google Maps is transmitted to Google and processed by Google. Google receives, for example, the information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. In addition, your IP address is transmitted. Google collects and stores this data as usage profiles and uses it for the purposes of market research and/or the needs-based design of Google Maps. If you are a Google customer and logged in to a Google service, this data will be directly linked to your Google account. If you do not wish to do this, you must log out of Google before visiting our website. For more information on Google's privacy policy, please visit: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

The data transmitted to Google may be transferred to the USA. Google has submitted to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The European Commission has decided in its Adequacy Decision (EU) 2016/1250 of 12 July 2016 that an adequate level of data protection can thereby be established.

The data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR and, if you are a Google customer, where applicable on the basis of Art. 6 (1) a) or b) GDPR. We have an interest in showing you our location on our website and making it easier for you to plan your journey. The provision of this data is neither legally nor contractually required and is not necessary for the conclusion of a contract with us. If you do not agree to a transmission to Google, then you may not visit subpages of our website on which Google Maps is integrated. Alternatively, you can deactivate "JavaScript" in your browser. In both cases, you will not be able to use Google Maps.

3.4.8 Google Ads

This website uses the remarketing function of Google Ads or Google Inc (Google). This function is used to present interest-based advertisements to visitors of the website within the Google advertising network. The browser of the website visitor stores so-called cookies, text files which are stored locally and which make it possible to recognise the visitor when he or she visits websites that belong to Google's advertising network. On these pages, the visitor can then be presented with advertisements that relate to content that the visitor has previously accessed on websites that use Google's remarketing function. According to its own information, Google does not collect any personal data during this process. If you do not wish to use Google's remarketing function, you can deactivate it by changing the corresponding settings under http://www.google.com/settings/ads make the appropriate settings. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the ad network initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp follow.

This website also uses Google Conversion Tracking. Google Adwords sets a cookie on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords client's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the client can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Adwords clients will learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking procedure, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this, for example, by means of a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser so that cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com are blocked. You can find Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking at http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy.

3.4.9 Facebook Pixel

This website uses the conversion pixel or visitor action pixel of Facebook Inc (Facebook). By calling up this pixel from your browser, Facebook can subsequently recognise whether a Facebook ad was successful, e.g. led to an online purchase. We only receive statistical data from Facebook for this purpose without any reference to a specific person. This allows us to track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. In particular, if you are registered with Facebook, we refer you to their data protection information https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. Please go to www.facebook.com/settings?tab=adsif you wish to withdraw your consent to Conversion Pixel.

3.4.10 Matomo (formerly Piwik)

This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. Matomo uses cookies that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymised before storage. Matomo cookies remain on your terminal device for 30 days if you do not delete them before then.

Matomo cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. BartelsRieger has a legitimate interest in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. If you do not agree to the storage and use of your data, you can stop the storage and use by contacting https://piwik.beratertool.de/index.php?module=CoreAdminHome&action=optOut&idsite=114&language=de deactivate. In this case, an opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, which prevents Matomo from storing usage data. If you delete your cookies, this will have the effect that the Matomo opt-out cookie will also be deleted. The opt-out must be reactivated when you visit our site again.

3.4.11 MyFonts Counter

On this website we use MyFonts Counter, a web analytics service provided by MyFonts Inc, 500 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, MA 01801, USA. Due to the licence conditions, page view tracking is carried out by counting the number of visits to the website for statistical purposes and transmitting them to MyFonts. MyFonts only collects anonymised data. If necessary, the data is passed on by activating Java Script code in your browser. To prevent the execution of Java Script code from MyFonts altogether, you can install a Java Script blocker (e.g. www.noscript.net). For more information on MyFonts Counter, please see MyFonts' privacy policy at http://www.myfonts.com/info/terms-and-conditions/#Privacy.

3.4.12 UserLike chat function

BartelsRieger uses a live company chat Userlike UG (limited liability), Probsteigasse 44-46, 50670 Cologne, Germany.

You can use the live chat like a contact form to chat with our staff in near real time. When starting the chat, the following personal data is collected:

• Date and time of the call
• Browser type/version
• IP address
• Operating system used
• URL of the previously visited website
• Amount of data sent
• And if specified: First name, last name, and e-mail address

Depending on the course of the conversation with our staff, further personal data may be collected during the chat and entered by you. The nature of this data depends very much on your request or the problem you describe to us. All our employees have been and will be trained on the topic of data protection and taught how to handle customer data safely and confidentially. All our employees are bound to confidentiality and have accordingly signed an addendum in their employee contracts to the obligation to maintain confidentiality and to observe data protection.
By going to www.Bartels-Rieger.de, the chat widget is loaded in the form of a JavaScript file from AWS Cloudfront. The chat widget technically represents the source code that runs on your computer and enables the chat. In addition, BartelsRieger saves the history of the live chats. This serves the purpose of sparing you extensive explanations about the history of your enquiry in some circumstances, as well as for constant quality control of our live chat service. The processing is therefore permitted under Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If you do not wish to do so, you are welcome to let us know using the contact details below. Saved live chats will then be deleted by us immediately. The storage of chat data also serves the purpose of ensuring the security of our information technology systems. This is also our legitimate interest, which is why the processing is permissible under Art. 6 (1) f GDPR. The legal basis for the processing of the data provided in the chat is, moreover, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR. You will find further information in the Userlike privacy policy
3.4.13 AWS S3
We use AWS S3 to properly deliver the content of our website. AWS S3 is a service provided by Amazon Web Services, Inc. which acts as a Content Delivery Network (CDN) on our website.
A CDN helps to make the content of our online offer, in particular files such as graphics or scripts, available more quickly with the help of regionally or internationally distributed servers. When you access this content, you connect to servers operated by Amazon Web Services, Inc. and your IP address and, if applicable, browser data such as your user agent are transmitted. This data is processed solely for the purposes stated above and to maintain the security and functionality of AWS S3.
The use of the Content Delivery Network is based on our legitimate interests, i.e. interest in a secure and efficient provision and optimisation of our online offer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR.
The specific storage period of the processed data cannot be influenced by us, but is determined by Amazon Web Services, Inc. For more information, please see the AWS S3 privacy policy: https://aws.amazon.com/de/privacy/.
03/04/2014 Google DoubleClick
We have integrated components of DoubleClick by Google on our website. DoubleClick is a brand of Google, under which mainly special online marketing solutions are marketed to advertising agencies and publishers. DoubleClick by Google transmits data to the DoubleClick server with every impression as well as with clicks or other activities.
Each of these data transmissions triggers a cookie request to the browser of the data subject. If the browser accepts this request, DoubleClick sets a cookie in your browser.
DoubleClick uses a cookie ID, which is required to process the technical procedure. The cookie ID is needed, for example, to display an advertisement in a browser. DoubleClick can also use the cookie ID to record which advertisements have already been displayed in a browser in order to avoid duplicate placements. Furthermore, the cookie ID enables DoubleClick to record conversions. Conversions are recorded, for example, if a DoubleClick ad was previously displayed to a user and the user subsequently makes a purchase on the advertiser's website using the same internet browser.
A DoubleClick cookie does not contain any personal data, but may contain additional campaign identifiers. A campaign identifier is used to identify the campaigns you have already been in contact with on other websites. As part of this service, Google obtains knowledge of data that Google also uses to generate commission statements. Among other things, Google can track that you have clicked on certain links on our website. In this case, your data will be passed on to the operator of Double Click, Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA. Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of DoubleClick by Google can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/ can be accessed.
We process your data with the help of the Double-Click cookie for the purpose of optimising and displaying advertising on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You give your consent by setting the use of cookies (cookie banner / Consent Manager), with which you can also declare your revocation at any time with effect for the future in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. The cookie is used to serve and display user-relevant advertising and to create reports on advertising campaigns or to improve them. Furthermore, the cookie serves to avoid multiple displays of the same advertisement. Each time you call up one of the individual pages of our website on which a DoubleClick component has been integrated, your browser is automatically prompted by the respective DoubleClick component to transmit data to Google for the purpose of online advertising and the settlement of commissions. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide your data. If you do not give us your consent, it is possible to visit our website without restriction, but not all functions may be fully available.
The concrete storage period of the processed data cannot be influenced by us, but is determined by Google LLC. Further information can be found in the privacy policy for Google DoubleClick: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
03/04/2015 Google Fonts
We use Google Fonts from Google LLC, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as a service to provide fonts for our online offering. To obtain these fonts, you connect to Google LLC servers, whereby your IP address is transmitted. The use of Google Fonts is based on our legitimate interests, i.e. interest in a uniform provision as well as the optimisation of our online offer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR. The concrete storage period of the processed data cannot be influenced by us, but is determined by Google LLC. Further information can be found in the privacy policy for Google Fonts: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
03/04/2016 Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager of Google LLC, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags through one interface and allows us to control the precise integration of services on our website and collect data. This allows us to flexibly integrate additional services and evaluate user access to our website. The use of Google Tag Manager is based on our legitimate interests, i.e. interest in optimising our services in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR. The concrete storage period of the processed data cannot be influenced by us, but is determined by Google LLC. Further information can be found in the privacy policy for Google Tag Manager: https://www.google.de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.
03/04/2017 Trusted Shops Widget
We have integrated components of Trusted Shops Widget on our website. Trusted Shops Widget is a rating service that allows users to rate our services. If you rate our services, data on the service used may be transmitted to Trusted Shops GmbH in order to verify authenticity. Trusted Shops Widget enables us to obtain content such as ratings directly from Trusted Shops GmbH and display it on our website. For this purpose, your current IP address is usually transmitted to the service.
Furthermore, Trusted Shops Widget shops information by means of cookies in order to find out which online offers have been visited. In this case, your data will be passed on to the operator of Trusted Shops Widget, Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Straße 15c, 50823 Cologne. The use of Trusted Shops Widget is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR to inform users about the quality of our services.
