Respirator masks are breathing devices and serve to protect the wearer from respiratory toxins. They are available as full face masks, half face masks and quarter masks. Respirators can be used self-contained with respiratory filters (filtering respiratory protection) or self-contained with compressed air systems (isolated respiratory protection). Half face masks cover the nose and mouth area and additionally the chin area.
