The basic unit 4500 PL/BN is a link between a full face mask according to EN 136 and a compressed air supply hose DZS 9 / DZS 9R to the compressed air source and contains a positive pressure lung ventilator with a device connector ESA according to DIN 58600. The built-in warning device in the demand valve also provides a low pressure warning directly to the user when using our DM 500 or DM 1900 pressure demand valves. Inaudible, dirt resistant and with no additional air consumption.
A distinction is made between units with a continuous flow valve (constant air supply) and units with automatic lung operation. Compressed air demand valves with demand valves supply air only when the wearer inhales. The air consumption of these devices is lower than that of constant flow hose units.
A compressed air supply hose with a demand valve is particularly suitable for breathing air supply from compressed air cylinders. A distinction is made between negative pressure and positive pressure devices. Devices with positive pressure create positive pressure in the facepiece. The positive pressure prevents the penetration of hazardous substances from the ambient atmosphere into the respirator mask.
