The BariLine PW compressed air line breathing apparatus with smooth medium pressure hose has a standard standard thread connection according to EN 148-1 and works with an overflow ventil which allows the excess breathing air to flow into the environment during exhalation. The breathing air supply is adjusted with a continuous flow valve according to the needs of the wearer. In use, a flow rate of >120L/min is always guaranteed.
The continuous flow valve is equipped with an audible warning device (warning whistle) that sounds when the supply pressure is too low and when the operating pressure is too high. It can be washed in industrial washing machines. The moving parts of the warning device do not require lubrication.
The valve body is made of electrostatically dissipative plastic and can be used in Ex zones 1,2 and 21,22.
Wherever an operational compressed air network is available, the BariLine PW compressed air line breathing apparatus is recommended as a cost-effective alternative for self-contained breathing protection. Solid engineering achieves the highest protection level (4B) among insulators.
BariLine has been tested and certified in accordance with the current safety regulations, DIN EN 14594. The occupational health screening G 26 is limited to group I. BariLine works with a continuous air flow that can be individually adjusted via a continuous flow valve. A overflow ventil guarantees maximum comfort by allowing unneeded breathing air to escape into the open air. The design does not allow the minimum flow rate required for safety to be reduced.
In addition, the continuous flow valve incorporates an audible warning device that sounds if the minimum flow is not achieved.
Possible uses for BariLine PW
- Protection against CMR substances, as well as highly poisonous and radioactive substances.
- Protection against airborne biological agents of risk groups 2 and 3 and enzymes.
