Escape and rescue solutions for self, mine and industrial rescue as well as tunnel and high-rise building operations
Chemical oxygen self-rescuers and compressed Oxygen closed-circuit breathing apparatus
DEZEGA chemical oxygen self-rescuers and compressed oxygen closed-circuit breathing apparatus provide protection in environments with smoke, toxic gases and oxygen deficiency. The devices operate independently of the ambient atmosphere and are suitable for both self-rescue and professional use by mine rescue, industrial rescue and emergency response teams.
As a respiratory protection specialist, we support you with product selection, training, testing and technical support.
BartelsRieger distributes DEZEGA respiratory protective equipment in Germany and throughout Europe.
Chemical self-rescuers (EmSCAPE, Carbo 30 + 60) generate oxygen through a chemical reaction in an oxygen generator inside the device. Single-use escape devices are used only in emergencies to leave a hazardous area (e.g. in the presence of smoke, toxic gases, or oxygen deficiency) (30 minutes escape time or up to 90 minutes in rescue mode).Escape devices operate on the principle of the closed circuit (regenerative apparatus): when breathing through a mouthpiece into a breathing hose, the exhaled air is collected in the breathing bag and re-enriched with oxygen by a regeneration cartridge containing potassium superoxide. Inhalation through the nose, which could allow harmful substances to enter, is prevented by a nose clip. The devices EmSCAPE, Carbo 30 & Carbo 60 are suitable for:Emergency evacuation, e.g. in oil and gas facilitiesEscape from contaminated areasPersons responsible for fire safety when organizing an evacuationRescue of patients Specification of the escape devices EmSCAPE, Carbo 30 & Carbo 60:K-KO2 as oxygen source completely isolates the user from ambient airBreathing resistance below 10 mbarIndependent of ambient airHigh reliability in hazardous situationsAll devices are designed according to international safety standards and are used worldwide SOLAS-certifiedApplications in marine and commercial shipping Ready for immediate useEasy handling – no special training required Compact and lightweight Weight in use under 2 kg 100% certified According to EN 13794:2002, compliant with PPE regulation 2016/425 with CE marking
